There’s no doubt that when a mother loves a child, it’s unconditional. But a father’s love could also be equated to a mother’s love. But I swear, he could do a mother’s task. Though he fails to do it perfectly at times re : fixing hair, matching clothes and some other girlie sort of things. But the thing is, he does. Without complains that it is not a manly job blah blah blah!
One thing I admire about him is that whenever he gets extra money from their tips, he comes home with a big tin of formula milk and a pack of diapers. He knows his priorities. Our daughter’s needs, before anything else.
Whenever I fall sick, he prepares food for me no matter how long his day was. And sometimes do the laundry. He does the regular grocery shopping because he knows very well that I’d complain on carrying heavy bags heehee!
I remember him polishing my toe nails when I on my last trimester. Told him I’ll do it but he insisted. He was worried that something might happen to Deye inside my tummy, if I bend.
To cut this bragging post short, he is an ideal father. And of course an ideal husband to me.

4hi mitch! honestly, na-feel ko how kind and loving hubby is to both you and your kid. you’re very lucky!
natuwa ako sa extra tip and goes home with milk and diapers. tatay talaga. reminds me of my dad, based sa kuento ng mom ko when i was a baby. marunong kasi siya mag-tahi ng pants, etc and sideline niya yun. pag may kita, he’ll buy those with my milk daw instead of personal stuff for himself :)

6@ Lori : Good to know that…
@ Daisy : Pero lang when he did that, seems like 48 years bago nya natapos haha! Saka daming lagpas. :p But the point was, yung effort.
@ Gracita : Totoo ka dyan. Kaya naniniwala na ako na kahit anong sama o iresponsable or easy go lucky nung binata pa, nagbabago din sila haha! May nagawa man syang kasalanan sa akin dati, nabawi naman na nya lahat for being an ideal father and husband to Deye and me.
@ Rhodora : Mas domestic sya sa akin, honestly haha!
