Wire Club

Chatting has been a part of my daily life since I became aware of it. I met a lot of people already who eventually became my friends in real life. It’s always nice to know people from different places who share the same thoughts and experiences with you.

Instant Messengers like YM and MSN have played big roles in my chatting life. It’s just recently when I discovered Wire Club (dot) com where you could also chat and enjoy the privilege to meet and talk to different people around the world through their free chat rooms.

All you have to do is create an account like how other messengers tell you to do and that’s it, you’ll be able access their chat rooms. Not only that they also have other feature where a member could enjoy like:

Blog > where you can create your own blog.

Clubs > where you can meet friends and share the same interests.

Dating Site > where they host free dating services.

Hall of Famer ;-)

I was going through my Global Dashboard and noticed the incoming links, clicked two of them that say “awards”, here are what they’ve said:

Mommy Chi said : To Mitch for the Thoughtful Blogger Award

MK said : if there is one person, and I mean top of the toppest, fave person who deeply deserve this… that would be none other than mitch herself!

And guess what? They’ve both given me the same award:

How could I??? I almost missed it! Oh well, it’s never too late to say thanks (Mommy Chi and MK) and at the same time pass this award to three thoughtful bloggers:

  1. Myrna
  2. Peachy
  3. Khristine

These were the words that my husband said 3 nights ago…

So that you won’t leave me….

Of course, it tickled my heart hihihihi!

How did that conversation go? Hmmmm, I told him what was playing on my mind… Just because some of my friends have come from a broken family, it gave me a thought that married life does not promise anything, that who knows one day, I might find myself in their shoes, or worst it could be me facing the struggles of a broken marriage.

Out of the blue I told him “if in case, the time will come that we don’t agree to anything anymore and decide that we should just part ways, please just give me Deye and I won’t ask anything from you“.

He looked at me, smiled and said “no way!”.

“You can remarry if you want, I promise I won’t object, and if you remarry then you can have another Deye, your carbon copy - just like her, if that’s what you want“, I added.

But he still said “no” and this time he was serious…

I asked him in an irritating voice “why?

So that you won’t leave me….

Hihihihi! O di ba kilig? ;-)

Question Tag

Tin tagged me with this question:

What did you learn about yourself in the last year?

I had learned a lot in life for the past years, but last year put a remark. I officially became a mother and being a good and responsible mother takes a lot of effort and learning. Before getting pregnant, I was hesitant about myself being a mother. No. 1 reason? I’m not very capable and reliable when it comes to household chores. So how can I perform and attend to my daughter’s needs when I can’t even deal with the household well? But then, I said to myself “kung yung iba nga nakaya, siguro kaya ko din”.

I got pregnant. One of my work colleagues asked me, “Are you scared?” I said answered her honestly “yes, and I’m afraid too”. She consoled me by telling me “don’t worry Mitch, you’ll pick-up, take it from me, I even said the same thing to my mother”.

Until this day I still remember those words that she said.

So what did I learn about myself last year?

Mitch, you are doing good, you definitely can be a mother, just keep on learning

And to keep this meme go on, Feng, Kimmy and Arlene, would you mind if I ask you answer my question, please???

At your lowest point, whom do you turn to when you think there’s no one else left around but you?

If our beloved country has its famous local transportations - tricycle and jeepney, India has too. They call it auto rickshaw, the counterpart of our tricycle. But these two have numbers of difference. Rickshaw’s driver sits in front while ours sits on the side. Rickshaw’s color is uniform while ours varies except from my place’s. Like the typical cabs/taxis, rickshaw has a fare meter installed inside. Cool eh? Drivers can’t cheat!

Thank You, Feng!

My blogging life had already gone too far. Not the traffic. Not the blog juice or whatever techno-term you usually call it.

I made friends…. and I’m certain that eventually that friendship would go deeper, not virtually but IRL, just like how the others.

When Feng said:

And to Mitch, Cookie, Auee, Analyse, and Julie–Blog friends too I truly treasure, because you have responded with understanding when I reached out to you for friendship, I’d love you to have these awards.

Thank you for your friendship and for inspiring me to be best Mom I can be for my Nico.

It registered not only in my mind, but in my heart. Why? Okay read her lines once again…. The first name that she thanked for was mine. Thank you, Feng! May bonus pang awards. Take note, awards. Plural. With S. Not only two but three.
