Just last night I made a post about “cellphone credits” in my other blog. If I am going to compute my monthly prepaid “load” consumption, it sums up to approximately P1,500, sometimes it depends if I need to place an overseas call or send a text message abroad. Or if I get hooked to ABS-CBN game shows like Uplate Live hahaha!

Today Yesterday afternoon at the mall, I saw Smart’s stall promoting SIM Only Plan 500. I thought about it for like 5 minutes hahaha! Kidding… I made an inquiry of course. The attending sales agent explained to me different plans, for Plan 1,200 you pay that amount and you’d get a free handset + some charges if I’m not mistaken. I didn’t pay much attention coz I am not interested in getting another cellphone coz I already have 2 active cellphones at the moment, 1 Smart and 1 Globe. What really insterests me is the SIM Only Plan. You only have to pay P500 and you’d get to have:

  1. 20 minutes of free call to Smart and Talk aand Text
  2. 20 minutes of free call to other network
  3. PLUS get your free cellphone after 6 months (see I’d still get it)
  4. You can also have a customized cell number (7 last digits) as long as it’s not taken yet)

Not sure if “free text messages” was also included.

Of course, your “extra” monthly consumption will reflect on your monthly bill. The best part about this plan is not much of docs required. Just these:

Two (2) Valid IDs

Proof of Billing (on your name as much as possible – well I’m a Smartbro subscriber hehe!)

I’ve already given my application and just waiting for their confirmation. We’ll see….
