My battery was acting up yesterday. I’m talking about my HP’s battery. It was drained but when I plug it in for charging, it says “plugged in, not charging”. I removed the battery for a while and tried again. It said the same thing. Since the charger works fine, I decided to remove the battery for at least an hour and while waiting I checked batteries online (that also reminded me to look for laptops and netbooks cooler).

After an hour or so, I kept the battery back, plugged the charged in. I’m so glad it’s charging fine now. In fact, my laptop is fully charged now! Whew! I thought I’m going to lose the battery this soon!
