Preschoolers’ Moving Up in Ate Deye’s school is scheduled 2 weeks from now. On March 22, to be exact. I’m sure, dress shops are busy stitching tuxedos and formal dresses for boys and girls respectively. As usual, yours truly wanted something the best affordable dress for her daughter. Affordable only means having the materials bought from Pagasa Market (a place in Olongapo where fabric materials are found) appropriate to the dress design I found online. It has a simple pattern. A typical empire cut dress, with belt and flower on it. Materials are:
2 yards of pink fabric = P180.00
1/4 yard of brown chiffon = P40.00
Labor for stitching = P200.00
Since Ate Deye only needed like 1 and 1/4 of the pink fabric, I thought of having the same pattern stitch for my bunso. Cute eh? And maybe P100.00 for stitching the small dress. All in all, it only cost me P520.00. Way practical that buying a ready made from the mall or renting a dress that might cost me more than a thousand pesosesoses!
