Lost Weight

A couple of  friends who saw me after I gave birth just told me that I lost weight already (well, at least by looking at me and not by weighing me). That’s so nice to hear but I’m certain it’s not with the help of ellipticals coz I don’t have one in the first place. I think it’s the new routine I am getting by.

Waking up early and staying up late made a lot of difference. I used to stay up late but I get to sleep whenever I want for as long as the girls are asleep and busy with their things. Unlike these days, I have to be up by 6am, get to work before 8am, work, go home and attend to my two girls.

I actually have no more time to stay online during the night as I always doze off before my girls. If you have noticed, I don’t even get to post in my blogs daily.

Oh well, on a brighter side it’s good coz I’m losing weight without spending over diet pills.

New FB game on the list

Got over with farming and cooking. Well, I still play FV, FT and CW but not like before. At least I don’t set my alarm anymore just to get on time to harvesting my crops and serving the guests in my restaurants.

So I got this new game on my FB list, Mall World. I so love the items they’ve got plus I get to sell them like I have my own boutique. I wish Mall World will soon create a feature where I can capture a screen shot of my boutique that goes straight to my FB album.

Anyway, aside from Mall World, I also pass my time at times playing Petville and My Town.

Jejemon

The first time I had encountered “jejemon” text messages that read “jejeje”, I had no clue it was really meant and typed that way. I even thought it was a typo of “hehehe”, mistakenly sent by pressing the submit/send key right away.

Few months back, I came across the Urban Dictionary online where jejemon was defined as:

uSuoLy sEEn ArOuND sOCial NeTWoRking sitez such az FriendshIPsteRndmUltipLy, JEjEmonZ ZareziNDiviDUAlz WiTh loW iqz hu spReAd AroUnD their IdioCY On D WEB BY TyPFiNg lyk DiZz jejEjeJe, mkINg Ol peOple vIeWing THEir proFilE rAiSe tHEiR eyebrOwZ awtZ of anNoynCe p0Wh. nOrMl peoPlE Lyk unDme MUst tAke A BcheLOR Of artz In jejETyPing in OrDeR to uNderstand paiD InDividuals, Az deCIpHERiNg theIr TXt woUld CaUSE A lot Of fruStrAtIONndhR PullIng.

I was okay until I read the 2nd definition where Filipinos was mentioned:

jejemOnZ zarEznOt juST coNFInED tO TRYiNg-hRD fILipIn0H GNGsterzNdemoS P0Wh. A jEJeMoN can alsO inCLUde a VARIeTY Of LTino-HiSPnic fagz hu EnjOy tYpinG “jEJEJEJejE” In A WidER CoNtXT, MucH tO d DisDain of tHeIr OppOnEntZ in an inTErNet MmOrpG GMe such az ragnroKndDOtA.

Oooops! I am not one of them.

Not anymore!

I am not anymore in need of herbal weight loss pills! I feel that I’ve already lost weight just by looking at my pants. I haven’t measured my waistline yet but I can tell. Oh please I don’t need your opinion, kidding!

Frankly speaking, I feel that I don’t need to go on a diet religiously. It’s just my tummy bulges and arms that make me look really big. Whoaaa! That’s the spirit! Again, I am not soliciting your opinion. LOL!

Anyway, I still have one month to fit in the dress that I’m planning to wear on Erchelle’s Christening. *fingers crossed*

....................................................................................................................

As I was chatting with my bestfriend the other night, she commanded me “Mitch, you should try complimenting your outfit with Scottish Jewellery on Erchelle’s Christening” and I was like “Huh?”.Frankly speaking I have no clue how Scottish jewellery accessories look like. I had to look up in Google and when I saw the returns, “Wow! Gorgeous! They could also be considered as good gift ideas. I’m sure whoever your recipient is won’t say no a designer jewellery like this.I thought for a moment “Okay they are nice but where do I get them? I’m afraid I can’t even afford to buy a pair of the simplest earrings.”

Wish I could find replicas of the ones I saw online, teehee! I’m sure there are good ones in the local market that really look like them. I wish I have seen these pieces during the time I was looking for a set for my wedding day. That would’ve perfectly matched with my tiara. Hmmm… this reminds me of my niece who will soon turn 18. She’s considering of celebrating her 18th birthday in one of the hotels in Baguio with the traditional “rigodon dance”, 18 candles and 18 roses. I think she should start looking for jeweleries like these. Anyway, she still got time. Oooops! Let me rephrase that…. anyway her father still got time to save up for this set of jeweleries LOL!

Seriously, if only I have the money to spend on expensive jeweleries, I really would invest on them. You’ll never know when you’d need them.

Reading Tools

I enrolled Ate Deye for Reading, Writing and Math program this summer. I thought she needed them for next school year. In a span of week, she has improved a lot in her reading skills. She could now read three letter words easily.

Since I am not always around to guide and teach her, I thought of making slide shows with narration. Simple three letter words like:

HUT | HOT | HAT | BAT | VAN

Why preferably these kind of words? Because I also wanted her to know  that they differ in meanings when properly pronounced in English (Confusing for a 4 year old but I guess it’s always good to start at an early age). What I have made may not be perfectly pronounced but I’m sure that would do. Besides English is not my mother tongue.

By the way, I have uploaded the slide shows I was talking about earlier. I hope these could help other mommies like me who are teaching younger kids to read.

| Three Letter Words|
Note : You need to download the file to hear the voice.

I also made number tools by 5s and 10s. I think I should also make these with narration.
