I’ve been exhausted these past few days that I needed a break. As I was sorting the things left out last night, I’ve found the old DVDs that my husband had collected years ago and watched one of them. Somehow it helped my mind relaxed… I wish he was there to watch with me.

Oh well, we’ll do that on Friday. Yup, on Friday! He’s coming on Friday for a day. I’ll blog about that after this…

Talking about Friday, it’s an open day here this coming Friday, that 2 days from now. It’s the 3rd Annual Carnival Fair and I’m glad my husband will be able to join us. It’ll be fun! There will be programs scheduled for the day and some kids’ activities like face painting, magic show etc… I’m sure Deye will enjoy…

with my husband. Yesterday was his day off. We spent the night out with two of his friends. First plan was to eat out but later decided to go to Water Garden. It’s similar to Fiesta Carnival in Cubao hehehehe! At first, I didn’t like the idea but when Derrick said that he wants Derelle to enjoy more, I didn’t say anything. I know, he wants to see her smiling and giggling all the time while he’s still here.

When we got there and saw my little one’s facial reaction, I smiled and looked at them. Both were excited to get in the bump car hahaha! I was hesitant. I’m scared, actually. Sssshhh! While they were buying the tickets for the bump car, his ever naughty friend booked a ticket in Super Surge - just for 3 people.

Who else but my boss… Yeah, I finally informed him (verbally) that I’m passing my resignation within this week (but it’s actually tomorrow, I just have to say it so he won’t panic). I know it was informal to tell him online but I don’t have any choice but to catch him online early today…

Me : *After I’m done with my work report* FYI in advance, I’m passing my resignation within this week…

Boss : *typing*

Me : *waiting*

Boss : *finally replied* Okay, but I still have to talk to you about that later….

Me : Thanks! I’ll call you later…

Boss : Let me call you after 20 minutes. Anything else???

Me : *I continued with other work updates*

That conversation was at exactly 9am today. And it’s now 4:05 pm and he hasn’t called me yet for a meeting. I wonder why? Is he ignoring me? Should I initiate the call or wait??? *sigh*

When I was watching the morning news today, one of the newscasters mentioned “only 40 days left before Christmas”. Whaaaat? Did I hear it right? Took my desk calendar and counted the days from today. Oh my God!!! She’s not lying! And guess what’s that oh my God for? I haven’t done any Christmas shopping for my family yet including my daughter’s.

Anyway, just the other night while I was sorting the Parenting magazines I have at home, it’s mentioned in one of the pages that Zappos and Old Navy have newly arrived items for kids! And the best part, they offer coupons. So I visited their sites a while ago and found some interesting items within my budget. And with the coupons from CouponChief.com, shopping galore is possible.

Enough! I have to make a move and start with my shopping before it’s too late! You know…. Christmas won’t be the same without it…
