Babies grow so fast that you want to capture every moment. Every new thing, every smile and milestone that your child has achieved matter a lot. A good way to make sure you keep a chronicle of your baby’s growth is to take photos at the same time every week or whenever possible.
There’s no reason for you not to do that because almost everyone nowadays owns a digital camera so no more excuses that printing is expensive. It also doesn’t matter whether they are on their pajamas, swinging in one of the playground swing sets within your area, or photos of tiny feet and hands that could compliment a digital layout or baby book.
If you are having a hard time capturing a smile or having trouble getting a baby look at the camera, try jiggling her favorite toy or set your camera to multiple shots so you won’t miss such precious smile.

Simple photos like this is very sweet
I also love taking photos this way.
This is a nice post, thanks for the tips.
My pleasure…
Taking and keeping baby photos is a good idea since it can greatly help in keeping the memories. 🙂
Indeed! And make fun of the moments at times back when they first posed their goofy shots!
The same with other excited moms, I do always take pictures of my son. Those toys really comes in handy and useful for these sessions.
I do that until now. It’s just so nice to see photos as years go by.
You’re so right, the digital camera is God-sent to capture all the special moments — that weekly shot is a great tip!
I know! I’m so glad digital cameras were invented otherwise we would be spending so much in developing those films endlessly.
It so very important to also backup your baby pics if taken on digital camera. ALWAYS have a copy stored somewhere in case your hard drive crashes.
