Back to the normal grind. Get up earlier than the usual, everyday. Unending home works. Projects. And a lot more. My eldest is now at Grade 7 while the youngest is at Grade 2. Since High School has the most memorable days, I want Deye to make more memories which she will never forget, where in she has the opportunity to explore and learn more, with new set of friends maybe. So I’ve decided to transfer her to a big Catholic school, and tagged along Ishi with her. Here they are on the first day of school.
Time goes by too quickly. I can’t believe Deye is already in High School. Next thing I’ll know she’d be asking if she can go out with her friends, without me. I can see in her actions these past few days that she’s having a hard time dealing with more than 40 classmates, in a much bigger school with different approach. I hope she’d get along with everybody well despite her being too shy still. I know in time she’d get to adjust very well.
With Ishi, I have no worries. I know she could adjust with no problem and quickly. She’s actually excited to go to school everyday but feels bored because of the longer schedule. But for sure, she’d get used to it in no time.
