Can’t Live Without It

My eyeglasses. Yup, I’ve been continuously wearing eyeglasses since high school. Oh no wait! I didn’t… there was a pause in between when I worn contacts for like 3 years. I didn’t like it. Well, it’s nice coz people won’t make out that you no longer have a normal vision, but the convenience, it’s just not for me. I don’t have the patience in maintaining even a pair at all. Plus the fact that you have to spend money for boiling and buying the solution. Unlike when you wear an eyeglass, all you have to do is wipe it whenever the lens get blurry. I might grab one though so I can sport my RL shades once in a while. The problem with wearing eyeglasses, if I wear sunglasses, can’t see anything clear hehe!

The one I currently have is just turning a year old this coming September but I am thinking of getting a new pair. I used to wear the same style, the rimless ones. So for a change I chose a little different last year, it’s half rimless LOL! These past few days, I’m feeling different. I always get a headache and kinda feeling dizzy. I even thought I was pregnant. No I’m not. That thing called visitor came uninvited again hmp! Anyway, back to getting an eyeglass…. So if I’m not expecting, therefore the only possible reason is my eye grade vision changing again. Right now mine is 475 (R) and 450 (L). Getting a new pair of eyeglasses is a good idea then. But before I do that I browsed the internet last night and checked the styles that I wanted to have this time, I got hundreds of returns through Google but I liked only one so far from zennioptical.com, and this time it’s a full framed eyeglass for just $8 (for a change again) teehee!

Nice eh? I just hope this kind of frame will suit my face.

  1. Been wearing for 16 years na, gosh half my age already teehee!

Contacts irritate my eyes that’s why I stopped wearing them.

Thanks for visiting my blog by the way! 🙂

  2. I’ve been wearing eyeglasses since I was 9! That’s almost 22 years now. 😀 I used to wear contacts a lot but for the past month I’ve taken to wearing eyeglasses everyday. They make me look a little nerdish because my lenses are so thick (900 grade!) even if they’re supposedly ultra-thin already. But what the heck, my eyes feel healthier without the contacts. 🙂

  3. Whoa! 9 years old? I could imagine your lenses. Hirap nyan 900, ako nga almost 500 pa lang naiirita na.

Same here, better pa din ang eyeglasses tipid pa hehe! And healthier talaga walang direct contact sa mata.

    Thanks for visiting my blog.
