I noticed a slower performance of my PC since the last two weeks. I guess it’s the number of photos that have been added to my collection. I think I need to have a full upgrade of this PC. Or I’m also thinking of having my brother’s PC upgraded including its memory of course, so we can just file and save the photos and other important documents in that, and let this PC remain as our working one. In that way, we always have a back up.
One thing more that makes my PC slower is the digital scrapping layouts that I have. Guess I need to do a proper filing for that too! Speaking of layouts, I have made a new one out of our family portraits. You may view it here.

Before I go on, allow me first to share our family portrait taken in the studio a day before he left. Yup, hubby left for work again this morning. It feels different. It seems so quiet here in the bedroom. No socks to pick up from the carpet. No crumpled bedsheets to fix once in a while caused by two D’s who decided to turn the bed into a playground. No more two rolling eyes to watch me as I try hard to cook our meals. *sigh* Missing him already…
And it really broke my heart the moment he got off the car taking his luggage… Deye screamed like hell asking “Kayi me first Dada!” (Carry me first Dada!), then she cried.

I missed a lot of things this past week. I missed the PBB Teen Edition Plus Big Night. I missed some episodes of the newest TV series My Girl. I missed the premiere of PBB Dream Academy Season 2. I feel that I also missed a lot of PPP opps for the last few days. I even missed chatting with my hubby every night. But right now, you know who and what I am starting to miss? My aunt + the nights we stayed over at her place. The relatives I haven’t seen for ages were there. I also realized that I am no longer the old Mitch that I used to be, the quiet type. There were moments when everyone was serious and when I said something everyone laughed. Heehee! I also missed forgot to take group photos, darn! We were busy catching up, that’s why! It’s good to see them again but it’s sad that this reunion happened because someone bid goodbye - forever… *sigh*

Remember the day when we went to Laguna to visit my mom’s elder sister? She has finally joined our dear Lord above just an hour ago.
I received the message at exactly 12:20am. I didn’t know how to break the bad news to my mom. She’s been worried all day. We got the news earlier that all my cousins (her children) were already called and gathered. Seems like Tita was just waiting for all of them. As soon as the youngest daughter arrived home, that was it, her last breath…

Wedding Custom

Ever heard or followed this custom? I did, on my wedding day.
Something old > symbolizes continuity. I worn my old ring too, it was my husband’s birthday gift to me on our first year. But I think most of the brides wear their grandmother’s gown or an antique piece of jewelery.
Something new > represents good luck and success and the bride’s hope for a bright future in her new married life. Gown is often chosen as something new but old folks say that it could also be the flower arrangements or wedding rings. I had a brand new wedding gown on that big day.
Something borrowed > is to represent to the bride that friends and family will be there for her on the special day and in the future when help is needed. I think I missed this! I didn’t have anything borrowed.
