It wasn’t planned. The original plan was to go to the mall, have dinner, go back to my hotel room, chat for a while and sleep early as I still have work the next day. But when the word “karaoke” was brought up after dinner, we just thought it was a very nice idea to pass our time. So there, after scouting some good and affordable rates around Ortigas, we found ourselves (Iris and I along with her husband) checking in one of the KTVs located in Ortigas. We told the attendant to give us 2 hours and we will go after that, besides we weren’t sure if someone else is joining us later.
To cut the story short, we almost found ourselves checking this website (read : www.howtotreatacne.org) the next day after, well, obviously for not getting enough sleep specially for me. Believe it or not, we finished at 3am. Here’s the proof:

After a while of being clueless where we were heading, finally it happened last weekend. Yep, we went to Bohol and Cebu. It was such a nice experience. I couldn’t believe I tried banana boating, went on a boat island hopping and felt some discomfort while traveling on a ferry boat going to Cebu. Despite that, I am still glad I went and even wished I had a Canon camera capturing the beauty of Bohol & Cebu. Maybe next time when everything is planned. Who knows it could be longer…
I wish I have the strength to post the photos here but right now I’m still exhausted and tired. There were unfortunate events that happened in the past days. My tita passed away and my househelp didn’t turn up for 3 days now.

I am so happy for my bestfriend! Her son has finally got an interview date at the US Embassy next month. Meaning they’d be together anytime soon. She’s so excited about it! It’s worth the wait and efforts. However, I also feel sad about the possibility of her not coming home frequently. In fact, we made plans already for just the two of us, getaway for a night at least, get some make-over and pamper ourselves for a day. I really hope it’ll push through, with the busy schedules we both have, I’m sure priorities are there, but I really really hope it will happen.
Oh by the way, she already bought pasalubong for the girls and some kikay stuff for me. Not sure though if she was serious when she said that she bought me a couple of wrinkle lotion. Huh? Duh!

Sort of. Kind of.
I have introduced paid blogging to some of my officemates/online/forum friends and most of them are interested of what I do. First, it was Arlene, my long time online buddy (read : 7 years but unfortunately, we have not met in person yet) who eventually bought her own domain. Last on the list was my office mate who recently left the company to focus more on their family business and new born son who is just my youngest’s age.
When I accepted the offer and paid a visit to our office, he was still there and approached me about how to start off with blogging. He joked “Magreresign na ako ma’am (he calls all the ladies in the organization ma’am, it has nothing to do with the organization levelling haha!), gayahin na lang kita magbablog na lang ako at magiging full time daddy“. I really thought he was not serious about it when he said that. Few days later, he emailed me about the same thing. Gave him the useful links that he could visit and read on. A week after, he messaged me on Skype telling me he’s ready. Right at that moment, we purchased a domain but it took us a while thinking of a good and relevant domain name for him. Timingly, Mommy Rubz was having an Earth Day Blog Hosting Promo and luckily got the last slot for that. I, personally, would like to thank Mommy Rubz for giving me a couple of days to settle the $15 for purchasing my colleague’s domain and for setting it up right at that moment.

Dad & I attended SJS Grand Reunion last night. The said event was organized and hosted by Batch 80. My dad was from Batch 70 while I was from Batch 93. Sad, but only few from our batch made it to the event. We understand that everyone gets busy these days and it was only a short notice but a day (it’s not even an all day event, just few hours in fact) spent with old friends/classmates would be nice, isn’t it?
Most of the attendees came from 3-R (third year section R). Well, there were just 10 of us unfortunately.
