The moment I saw this big antique jar, there’s only one thing that came to my mind “I wonder if it’s the same jar used in one of the horror movies shown back in the 80s”. I hope it’s not.

One of the good advantages of having 2 girls in the family is that you save a lot from buying clothes, shoes and other stuff that much. Buying brand new stuff is fun especially when you are shopping for girls but it could also be a burden to your budget. As much as I want to cater both my girls’ material needs (not to mention mine), I couldn’t do it regularly as I have to think of some other priorities too. Therefore, hand me down is very much common in my family. I, in fact had worn so many clothes that were handed-me-down by my cousins. Even the baby blanket that my brother owned is now in my care.

However, there are things that are indeed irresistible. Whenever I see designer shoes for little girls, I blindly take money out from my wallet and give in to what my heart says “take it or you won’t find that design ever again!” Can you blame me? I am a mother. I want the best for my kids. I want them to look fine and stand out from the crowd.

It’s a wonderful feeling when people comment “Your daughter is such an angel! She’s so adorable!” Or “Hey, where did you get that shoes from, they are stunning! Can you give me the shop’s name and I will get one for my daughter too?”

I am a mother. Period.

Some people I know are already listing down their chosen and personally picked gifts for their loved ones for this coming Christmas. I’ve thought of it as well but no, I haven’t listed down a single item as yet. But for those who had started already, I’m sure you could include giving vintage t shirts on your list. There are Disney and other character items that your kids would surely love.

If I have the budget, I would definitely go for these character shirts and I am certain my Godchildren would love me more that they did before haha!

I bought a pair of ceramic jars yesterday for only P600 from my cousin. It looks like it’s meant for my TV stand and I’m sure it’ll also look good with any modern furniture. I love jars especially the dark colored ones. I actually got a couple but when I sent it through a cargo 2 years ago, all came broken in pieces. Too bad one of them was a gift from my work colleague before I left Bahrain.

Now that we are already on our own apartment, I’m thinking of slowly collecting some again. Oh! I just love jars, I don’t know why. I just love looking at them on display. I am actually eyeing on one Japanese jar but good God, it’s too expensive!

It wasn’t planned. The original plan was to go to the mall, have dinner, go back to my hotel room, chat for a while and sleep early as I still have work the next day. But when the word “karaoke” was brought up after dinner, we just thought it was a very nice idea to pass our time. So there, after scouting some good and affordable rates around Ortigas, we found ourselves (Iris and I along with her husband) checking in one of the KTVs located in Ortigas. We told the attendant to give us 2 hours and we will go after that, besides we weren’t sure if someone else is joining us later.

To cut the story short, we almost found ourselves checking this website (read : www.howtotreatacne.org) the next day after, well, obviously for not getting enough sleep specially for me. Believe it or not, we finished at 3am. Here’s the proof:

Definitely, online shoppers would love to have online coupons. But really I have no idea how to get one. Anyway, I am eying on some pretty cool bags online. Quite expensive but I’m sure it’s worth the price. It has this formal look, white in color and holds the things in tact. I hate it when my stuff rumbles inside, it’s so hard to find the things that you needed in a split second. When choosing a bag, this is one of the particular things I require and check. The color should also match almost all my clothes easily so I won’t have to bother buying different colors for each clothing.

Back to online coupons, does anyone know how to obtain one? Please give me some heads up. Thanks!
