Erchelle’s Christening details

Invitation cards. Since I’m into digital scrapping, I thought it’d be practical if I’d do it myself and had the cards printed in Photoline @Php7.00 for each card, then bought scented envelopes to give it a formal look at least.

Giveaways. I ordered 50pcs of brown bears online from Meme Bear.  Items were shipped in less than two weeks after we agreed on how the photos and lettering will appear on the bear’s shirt. I also got to choose the color of the skirt, with free packaging and tags. However, I opted not to cover it with plastic. I find it more prettier and neat when arranged without the plastic cover. Godfather/Godmother standees were all purchased online from Papemelroti.

The back of the bear’s shirt reads Erchelle’s full given name, date of the event and a thank you note. The same appears at the back of the standees but in black print. Failed to capture the back of the standee and gave them away already.

Venue/Cake/Dress. Venue was at the Aristocrat Restaurant located in SBMA. (047) 252 3909. The set up was pretty and simple. Tarp, balloons and choco fountain were compliments from the restaurant. Cake was made (as per my requested design to match with the bear giveaways) by a former high school classmate. To place your order please contact Khristine Yambao-Dominguez on 0921 793 7151 or just head on to her Facebook account here. Dress(es) was/were tailor made as usual. I just thought the girls would look cute if their dresses are matched. Oh by the way, the white Christening dress was a hand me down  from Ate Deye, she also used it for her Christening when she was at 6 mos. I was surprised to see that Erchelle fits in that dress well as if it was hers, to think she’s only completing 4 mos tomorrow.

More photos of the event here.

Guestbook. I thought of it the last minute. Bought the embellishments a night before the event and finished the scrapbook with the help of my glue gun as soon as I got home. I love how it turned out!
