The doctor asked me to have her CBC test done yesterday just to make sure if she’s dengue positive or not. So we went to the laboratory right away and mom was carrying her while I was talking and spelling out her full name to the Med Tech. I had to pronounce it the way our family name is spelled ‘coz most of the people spell it incorrectly fogetting the letter H when pronounced properly. Instead I said Carval-HO, stressing on the HO. But it’s supposed to be pronounced as Carvalho {silent H}.
Then she butted in saying:
Mama, it’s not Carval-HO, it’s Carval-loooooow!
LOL! Okay anak next time hahaha!

She broke my father’s eyeglasses, but you won’t see any worries on her face, instead she said:
It’s okay, lolo! Mama will buy eyeglass for you.
Yup, she constructs big sentence now with full facial expressions. Anyway, I missed that scene, it was my mom who told me what she had exactly said.
That same afternoon, I asked her about it. Then mom told her “Lagot!!! You have to pay for lolo’s eyeglass!”
Again, she said:
I don’t have money, mama has money. 1-2-3-4-5!
Hahaha!

A mother never gives up hahaha! I waited…. waited…. waited…. not just for the good piece but also for a good price until I saw this cute table that just suits my little girl. It’s a folding one where we could just keep whenever not needed. It’s a multipurpose for her, she doodles, scribbles and have lunch on it. It has its ABS and 123s printed on it.
For just Php790, I made her happy. Continue reading ‘Her New Companion’

I always remind Deye to “speak in English” in favor of my husband. Otherwise, if she’d continue and concentrate speaking in my native language, it’ll be a problem.
The other day, she was playing with my brother as if they were conversing over the phone.
My brother : Hello! May I speak with Deye please?
But Deye was quiet and didn’t know what to say, so I whispered to her ear:
Me : Say “speaking”….
She then said:
Deye : Speaking…. English!
Wahahahaha! She must have confused herself with the “speaking” and “speak in” hehe!
