At 6 y/o, Deye’s fondness of lipgloss is already obvious.
When she saw me having Vaseline’s Lip Therapy, she asked for it. I gave in rather than bugging me and asking me for my lipsticks.
When she saw Barbie’s Lipgloss Pink Glam, she didn’t stop till she got it.
A late bloomer that I am, I feel better when I see kikay items that my kids would like. When I saw Sophie’s flavoured lipgloss, I ordered Watermelon and gave it to her.
I know it’s too early to give in to her demands. I guess I just have to accept that kids are different now. Guidance is the key to not overdo it. I’ve also told her that she should be responsible in keeping her things, in a kikay kit just like us, grown ups and not behind our lg home theatre system.
