One of the many things that a working mom like me looks forward to is “holiday” especially when the days fall close to the weekend, that would mean a long weekend for us, and that would also mean a longer time to spend with the kids.
Last year, we spent the Good Friday at the Pool with my cousins and other relatives. And the usual, we paid a visit to the Church that Sunday.
This year, and that’s next week to be exact, I have no plans as yet. Close to payday! But we’ll see, I might just take the girls out before Maundy Thursday, rent some DVDs and spend the long weekend at home.

I am happy to share my adventures as I walk through motherhood and have to do most things on my own while my husband works miles away from us. Turning my passion into a profitable venture is another thing.
Authoring and managing this personal blog developed my social media awareness over the years.
From being an ex-OFW to doing what I am good at in the comfort of my own home – while taking good care of my 3 wonderful kids, I hope that people see me as a great inspiration when it comes to pursuing my passion and turning it into a profitable venture.
A giant leap like this is such a challenging journey but indeed is rewarding. A few bumps along this whole journey did not stop me from being the best version of myself.
This is the first time in 6 years that we will be celebrating lent with ex-OFW (soon to be OFW again) hubby, perhaps magvivisita iglesia kami st sabay empake dahil we will be moving by May 8 na sa aming new place…

Anytime I am off I just make sure I spend time with the family.
On Good Friday we eat fish, bread, and grits. My parents tell the Easter story with the kids using ressurection eggs. We have a big easter egg hunt with the kids. The adults play a game of kickball. We just try to enjoy the moment. On Sunday the extended family meet back up at sunrise seervice at church. On like some families we do not east Easter Dinner together so everyone can spend time with their own family.
Enjoy your holiday.
