I thought about it – many times. Why not make myself worthy? Instead of just chatting online during my freetime, why not inspire other people (if they are!) and make every minute useful? Somehow, I’m learning bwehehehe!
I found myself signing up to “Bringing Up Mom Section” the next day. Submitted my article to the Section Editor, Annamanila. I had the opportunity to chat with her yesterday. She said that “I have the potential“. I just have to be confident in what I write. My grammar is okay, I just need to tighten some of my words up. As long as the content is good, no worries. Besides practice makes perfect.
Same day, yesterday… I had the chance to check my personal emails thoroughly. And found an encouraging email stuck with the spam mails. It was en email from Sexy Mom asking me “How about joining Parenting Section?” Btw, she handles this section. Who? Me? The wanna-be-writer? Of course I said yes hahaha! I’d love to join! I felt important at that moment hahaha! An experienced mommy blogger/writer inviting me to join her section… flattering! I finished and submitted (shivering) two articles today! Again, I’m losing confidence. I told her I hope I made sense in my first article. She quickly answered “you always makes sense, actually, I just made some comments on your blog“. She also promised that she will give her honest ‘editorial” opinion. I’d appreciate that really. That’s how you make a person learn.
I just love it when people like them encourage me rather than…. oh well!
Thanks for the encouraging words! You both made my day!

You can do it, Mitch! And what’s important is the content. I’m sure the grammar lapses will be taken cared of by the editors naman. Saka tama, practice makes perfect 🙂
@ Ate Cha : Yan naman ang mananatiling pangarap na lamang hahaha!
@ Sasha : Thanks sa encouragement sis! Yung mga tulad nyo ang nakakatulong sa mga taong mahina ang confidence. 😉
You’re okay Mitch. You got the basic raw materials and the tools. Tapos dami mo pang i-gagaling because you’re young and determined to improve.
Write, write, write and read; read read, read. And keep the BUMP pieces coming.
Tama si anon, you have soul. And it shows.
Sarap naman pong pakinggan nun! Thanks a million! OA na ba? Hehehe!
that’s the spirit Mitch. you can do it. for all we know, our thoughts as mothers are coming from deep within, so need not fear of putting them in writing. 🙂
@ Feng : You know what, you’re right! Thanks!
