This week’s Mommy Moments theme is about Special Trips.
Though we had been to India more than a couple of times already, I still call these trips so special. This is the time where we get to hang around my in laws and experience different activities as a family. Since he works abroad and we both have decided that I stay here with my daughter, we made a deal and compromised to alternately travel to our places whenever possible. Last January was me and my daughter’s turn to go there and these photos were one of those shots out of boredom, staying at the airport for more than 8 hours. That was so far the most terrible and longest boring stop over we had ever since, yet I still call that trip special coz I was certain that after a long wait, we’d soon see each other again.
Notice the bolster that she had with her all the time. That’s her one and only favorite “bo”. We always carry this with us wherever, may it be a local or international trip.
When we finally got in the plane, here’s what she’s been doing:
Last May was hubby’s turn to visit Philippines and this coming December is supposed to be our turn to go there again, but since I can’t travel anymore by then, he’ll just join us before my due date in February.
Must be tough to be away from each other! That makes visiting trips even more special. 🙂
See, she didn’t seem to mind the waiting. 😉
She looks so excited riding a plane and eager to see her dad.
Hi Meikah! You’re right, it’s really sad esp when it’s time to go home again and wait for another 6 months.
Hi Karen! You bet!
wow plane ride!!! 😀
awwww, im sure that really is very difficult. But like what meikah said, it does make the trip extra extra special.
Happy MM, mine is up too.

I always admired parents who try to make it a point to at least take their kids to travel somewhere regardless of their age.
