Gone are the days when one does not have an ATM card but a bank book and patience to fall in a queue to withdraw money. Think about the coming days when Mr. Postman will no longer have a job to keep because all bills will be sent via email. I assume these days, nobody sends a letter anymore via snail mail. Well, at least we keep them busy for delivering greeting and post cards around the world. Have you also thought about putting a business up like a furniture shop that uses a furniture retail software to keep the business going?
I’m sure in no time, all utility bills will be settled via machines or bank transfer online only which I believe some of the countries now do. In fact, in my job we encourage our Suppliers to collect payments via bank transfer online instead of checks being issued to them.
If this happens soon, some of the mommy errands like going to the bank and paying dues over the counter will be unloaded. Then, we would have more time to spend with the kids.
downside is what will happen to Mr. Postman then?

That’s the saddest part. But as long as post and greeting cards exist, buhay sila.
We here in Germany do that. All bills are paid thru online. Sometimes we had to fill up a form authorizing them to debit our account. Even schools, they debit our account every month. Burden to us kasi we have to reconcile our accounts monthly kung tama at walang nadodoble. 🙂
