One crafty hearty Sunday

Since my budget is really tight, I thought gifts made out of scrap or old things would be a great idea. I checked the cabinets one by one and saw some popsicle sticks which were left overs from Deye’s projects last year, beads that she recently got from her birthday, and some were the not- so-paid-attention “anik-anik” hiding in the drawers.

I first cut some hearts out of an art paper, and let Deye stick them on the Oslo papers which were also from last year’s project. That way she also had a good writing exercise on a Sunday.

They actually turned out so well and I am thinking of making more photo frames out of these popsicle sticks for the accumulated photos that we’ve got in the house so far.

Finished products here.
