Saving up the traditional way

Holiday Season is nearing. I can tell. At 6pm, it’s dark already. Ti’s the season to celebrate the birth of Jesus, gather with the whole family and share the blessings with friends and lovedones. But how could that be possible when you haven’t even saved up little? This year I am doing it the traditional way.

Alkansya

Kuya Dennis, our Technician made a coin bank out of a bamboo or well known as “alkansiya” and I put a total of Php50 in P5 coin denominations daily. I am assuming that I will have at least Php5k before Christmas. I think that is good enough to buy gifts for my Godchildren and lovedones. As I always say, gifts need not to be expensive, it’s the thought that will always count.
