Sibling Rivalry

It can be frustrating and upsetting to see and hear your kids fight over something. Many kids are lucky enough to become the best of friends with their siblings but it’s also common for them to fight. I noticed the start of this situation even before my youngest is born when my 2 year old eldest then kicked my bulging tummy when I said ouch as the baby inside me kicked in! My eldest thinks that the baby was hurting me.

Yes, it continued and still happening at times, but I am glad I still manage to bring the closeness between my girls.

It’s hard but trying my best to promote peace in the household, helping my kids get along.

Otherwise, as I always tell them, if none of them gives in or give way, then no one will get anything.¬†Yet oftentimes it’s hard to know how to stop the fighting, and or even whether you should get involved at all. But I’m sure, with the invested amount of love and closeness that they have now, certainly they will outgrow fighting over toys, lipsticks and even the nicest¬†customized padfolios.
