Work with ABC360 as Home-based Online English Tutor

It’s been almost 2 years ago (October 14 to be exact) since I left my office-based job. Since then, I have always spent and enjoyed precious time with my friends and family most especially. I ventured into small businesses (which I realized is not my cup of tea) and continued working on my blog for money and some online tasks that pay. What else could I ask for? I get to enjoy a quality time with my family and earn with no hassle of going to the office early in the morning for almost everyday.

Just a week ago, I started a new journey. I got accepted in ABC360, the fastest growing Online English School in China and is committed to providing teachers a stable work environment with equal opportunity for learning and personal growth. Creativity and innovation are encouraged for improving the effectiveness of ABC360 Philippines. Above all, teachers are provided the same concern, respect, and caring attitude within the organization that they are expected to share externally with every ABC360 clients.

I am officially starting tomorrow. After a couple of online interviews and mock lessons with PH and CN staff, I am now ready to accept the challenge. Just within a short period of time, I can already tell that I am in good hands and with friendly and helpful colleagues.

Hi Teacher Mitos. I also did a mock lesson last week and endorsed me for orientation tomorrow. Can you give me some tips likewise? 🙂 how’s your experience now working @ abc 360? Is it worth to pursue my application with them? It’s my first time to teach online and I don’t have any idea, hope you can help me. Thanks in advance 🙂

Hi Agnes! Sorry for my late response.

Congrats on that! As far as I remember, there will be another round of mock lesson with our Chinese staff and you will be graded for that. That would be the basis whether you can continue with ABC or not. No worries though, 90% of the aspiring applicants pass, besides 2 chances are given.

Re: experience, so far so good. What I like working for ABC is that we get to plan and plot our own schedule provided our assigned coaches are advised in case of changes.

In terms of the compensation, if you love what you are doing, you won’t be bothered whether you earn big time or not. Once you get along with your students very well, figure/s will no longer an the issue. I do 3-4 hours daily, I earn very little but I don’t mind. Maybe if you do full-time, it’s okay.

    Hope this helps.

  4. I am already online on Skype just waiting for someone to add but its altready 5 minutes past the scheduled time what is the skype account of ABC. By the way I am supposed to be having mocks and interview thanks

Sorry but I am no longer with ABC.

  5. I’m just scanning the internet about ABC360 and saw this blog. I’ve worked in a BPO company for a year and I’m currently working as an ESL teacher here in ABC360, office based. The job here as an ESL teacher is way better than in BPO yet the salary rate is just almost the same. If you live in Baguio City or somewhere near the area and you are interested in applying, feel free to contact me at Including your full name and contact number and I will refer you to the company. 🙂

  6. Good day, I’d like to ask your opinion Ma’am. I am currently working in an online English school office based and I want to have another teaching part time job, do you think it is possible with abc360? Thanks in advance.

  7. It’s really flexible to work online. We used to teach English in foreign countries but now we teach online, make 4X the money, and no lesson planning! Y’all can see our pictures at
