132 lbs. and counting

Once in a while, we, in the office, check our weight using the heavy duty scale placed in the production floor. It was always the usual. Everyone is under the bracket of 55-59, I, being the tallest always gets the heaviest weight. Would that be an enough and convincing explanation?

But you know what, last Friday was quite different. I literally jumped not for joy and screamed after seeing the figures starting with 6. It was a not so good set of numbers. In fact, the weighing scaled played a bit with me when it first shown, 59.5 to 60, then again back at 59.5 and finally settled down at 60kgs.

Do you know the feeling when you want to destroy the machine for not telling the truth. But unfortunately, it was telling the truth so as the people who have seen me lately, they are commenting the same comment as “tumaba ka!” What else could I say? Nothing but find a way to stop this. I guess I should take this seriously now. I got to find a way to stop from drinking soda and these not so good junk food that is usually filling my hungry stomach. Or what about fat burners? Anyone?
