November 15, 2013, the day that ABS-CBN Yolanda Tulong Na, Tabang Na, Tayo Na T-shirts will be available in participating Ayala Malls including the Harbor Point in Subic. The usual, it’s mom and I who usually go for mall trips and we decided to be there before 10am as we needed to be home before “The Richard and Maya Wedding“.
At exactly 10am, the security guard on duty started allowing people get in the mall. Surprisingly, as early as 10am, the crowd was already this much!
It took us 3 hrs to finally wear these shirts. Long queue, long wait, but it felt good after putting them on. In fact, we even made new friends in that 3 hrs.
Within that 3 hrs, there was one person who really caught our attention. I wasn’t sure if she’s the manager or owner of All Flip Flops shop.
She was annoyed telling the people not to block shop’s entrance and started calling whoever from the office of the Harbor Point.
We understand that business is business. But the point was, the queue was not for some pleasure like lining up for a box office hit movie, but it’s a line, long line for a good cause. Besides, if “people” would really want to see the items in “this shop”, they would find their way inside, no matter what, right? I was really disappointed to see how this lady had reacted. Just saying…
Ganda ng t shirt. This is just one of hundred ways to help the typhoon victims. Napaka insensitive naman ng babaeng yun.
@wena, Sinabi mo pa, nakakapikon sya pramis buti na lang magaganda mood ng mga tao kundi pinatulan talaga sya!
