We passed by our relatives’ house next street after we went to the market to get some food stuff. Look at the state of the house, this whole compound belongs to my paternal grandparents, one big house in the middle and smaller ones at both sides.
The house in the middle > where my father grew up.
The house on the right side > where I grew up. We left this house when I was 12 years old and this is now occupied by my aunt, dad’s youngest sister.
From where my brother was standing, is the main gate. If I’m not mistaken, it has 5 steps going down. So imagine the depth of the water once you are completely standing on the ground.
