After spending overnight in the hospital, the doctor asked me during her rounds if I was feeling okay. With much gusto of going home, I quickly said yes! At the back of my mind, I have pain reliever meds anyway, so that would do somehow.
She then ordered for my discharge and gave the form for PhilHealth deductions. I just had to wait a little for our HR to send me the necessary papers. While waiting, I requested the nurse if she could also request for my previous medical records so I can file it at SSS. At almost 6pm, I was ready with my clearance form and medical records.
Reached home at half past 6pm. Seeing the kids jumped for joy as they saw me, made me really feel wanted at home. I sent our nanny out to get the medicines for me instead.
Right now, I am doing well recuperating at home with the help of the medicines, no sharp pains at all, while I patiently follow my doctor’s order: No soda, coffee, tea and salty food!
I’ll be back to work next week, hoping for a stress-free Monday at least!
