Back To Where I “Day-ly” Belong

Whether I like it or not, I’m back to where I “day-ly” belong. We had a 4 day-long-weekend, but unfortunately, we were not able to enjoy it as how it should be. First, my husband had to be at work during those busy days. He was still officially on leave last Thursday but was called to work on that day. Second, my little girl was sick since Wednesday night. Because of that, I was not able to come to work the following day.

I’m afraid that one of these days, I’ll be called in the Personnel office for disciplinary action or worst, a letter saying “we regret to terminate your services with us”. If ever that happens, well that’s life! I just have to accept the decision – maybe. But at least I knew my priorities and I had prioritized what needed to be prioritized.

Anyway, I’m keeping my fingers crossed. But then again, I think and I guess, I’m ready for the consequences…
