Balo-balo is Kapampangan’s native delicacy. The best one comes from Candaba. But they are now available in Double Happiness where Victory Liner buses stop over for a short break. I got a bottle of it the last time I went to Manila. Yesterday, I opened it, sauteed it with onion, garlic, salt to taste and some calamansi juice. It was my first time to try it. I liked it! Even my daughter liked it and she ate it with rice alone. But I guess I made it with too much oil. I hope acne won’t show up few days after.
