When the babysitter calls in sick, that also means that I have to call in “sick” or tell the truth that our babysitter couldn’t make it. Sometimes it’s better to do the first option because you can always go for a medical checkup and pretend you are sick. At least your one day salary won’t go wasted.
But, I chose the 2nd option. I called the office and said the truth > that I couldn’t make it because the babysitter was sick. Guess, I was lucky coz our boss was out of the country otherwise…
When mom was here, I didn’t have to worry when things like these happens. But she’s not. I was left at home without any choice but to cover up child care. It’s not that I’m unhappy to do it, I just hate it when “some” people at work think that I’m just making an excuse.
On the positive side, I had the chance to bond more with Deye and took her photos….. *wink*
