From the day my mom suffered from TIA (Transient Ischemic Attack), and learned that I, too, have a high cholesterol, I have been vigilant on what I eat, though, admittedly I have episodes of cheat days (yes, days!) just to not feel deprived from what I am used to having. I have also been keen on what I see online and try to adapt or at least keep some good references like this chart:
So far, my blood pressure seems cooperative that it had not been over the average reading. At 39, it’s unfortunate that I already have a medicine to maintain. I still could not accept the fact that I am taking medicines already to control my cholesterol or at least keep it at the average. I guess, I have no choice but to take them religiously.

I am happy to share my adventures as I walk through motherhood and have to do most things on my own while my husband works miles away from us. Turning my passion into a profitable venture is another thing.
Authoring and managing this personal blog developed my social media awareness over the years.
From being an ex-OFW to doing what I am good at in the comfort of my own home – while taking good care of my 3 wonderful kids, I hope that people see me as a great inspiration when it comes to pursuing my passion and turning it into a profitable venture.
A giant leap like this is such a challenging journey but indeed is rewarding. A few bumps along this whole journey did not stop me from being the best version of myself.
I used to have white spots on my face, which according to my Mum, is an indicator of high cholesterol. I took NAC for awhile, but what made those white spots go away was my abstinence from pork. 🙂
I’m working on that sis kaso di ko pa kaya walang pork hahaha!
I can also feel signs of aging. I wanted to go back to the gym pag may time. I haven’t checked my BP for quite some time but last time, normal pa naman.
Sis Badet, may BP was always normal, 110/70 but when I had my blood chem dun nakita. Pagkakita pa nga ng doc sa akin ang una anya sabi baka stress kasi ampayat ko but after the results, ayun nga high cholesterol pala.
