Billy

I was surprised to hear the news that our dear classmate Billy passed away two days ago. It was a sudden death. For whatever reason, I don’t know the exact details. I only remember one thing about him. He was one of my suitors during college days. My ever loyal suitor. He would just pop up in front of me whenever he feels like. He would visit the boarding house where I used to live without telling me ahead of time. Honestly, I never liked him. Well, not really him. The situation. Coz I was already with someone when he was after me. In short, he was so “makulit”.

But you know what’s good about Billy? He’s a funny wacky guy. He also excels in our block section.  He was one of those typical students that our professor would look for during classes. Anyway, the day I heard the news, I suddenly felt guilty. I wished I’d been more nicer to him during those times. I really wished…. I hope that he’s happy and at peace now with our Creator. May you rest in peace, Billy….

A giant leap like this is such a challenging journey but indeed is rewarding. A few bumps along this whole journey did not stop me from being the best version of myself.
