Buwan ng Wika is just one of the school events that we look forward to every year, during the month of August. It’s an event where our children get to wear Kasuotang Pilipino (Philippine National Costume) and participate in different competitions like Poster & Slogan Making, Balagtasan, Sabayang Pagbigkas ng Tula and many more.
This year, my girls worn Maria Clara dresses. Good thing there’s a nearby shop that rents out gowns of different occasions.
My little girl, Ishi, bagged the Best in Costume for Advanced Casa level, while my eldest, Deye, finally came out of her shell as she sang Isang Lahi on stage, in front of many people.

Apart from these special awards and performances, as usual, my little girl did not fail to surprise me. Just like last month in their Nutrition Month, she once again got the First Place in Poster Making Contest. Too bad I was not able to take a photo of her artwork.
I am truly gifted with smart and beautiful daughters.
