Good Buy from Lazada Midyear Sale

I promise I didn’t buy anything unuseful from the recently Lazada midyear sale. One of them was this lunch box that I have been wanting to buy but couldn’t find the perfect match to my liking. The size is bigger than what I was expecting, and that’s great!

No, I am not into bento baon making ‘coz I know I cannot keep up until the end of the school year, but I have been looking for something with partitions so that the dishes won’t mix with each other.

So there, I patiently searched for it during the Lazada midyear sale and luckily found this one with lunch bag included.

    Effective Reading Strategies for Preschoolers

Both my daughters started reading on their own at the age of 5. I never rushed them and just waited till they were ready. In fact, I was really surprised when I learned that they can already read long sentences. They would ask me to read with them and capture them on video so we can send it to their Dada who works abroad.

    READING

Here are the girls’ videos which I managed to record, both at 5 years old:

    Back to school SY 2017-2018

Back to the normal grind. Get up earlier than the usual, everyday. Unending home works. Projects. And a lot more. My eldest is now at Grade 7 while the youngest is at Grade 2. Since High School has the most memorable days, I want Deye to make more memories which she will never forget, where in she has the opportunity to explore and learn more, with new set of friends maybe. So I’ve decided to transfer her to a big Catholic school, and tagged along Ishi with her. Here they are on the first day of school.

Time goes by too quickly. I can’t believe Deye is already in High School. Next thing I’ll know she’d be asking if she can go out with her friends, without me. I can see in her actions these past few days that she’s having a hard time dealing with more than 40 classmates, in a much bigger school with different approach. I hope she’d get along with everybody well despite her being too shy still. I know in time she’d get to adjust very well.
