Thanks to the bosses who declared non-working day last Tuesday and for having us excused even the next day after the flood was all cleared up. But as expected, those two days were not rest days for us but time for cleaning up the mess that the flood has left us.

So thankful to Ate Rose, my househelp for willingly helping my parents out clean up their house while I help my Uncle out downstairs. I was also lucky that my niece was around to babysit my girls. That’s me above scraping the mud stuck on the grounds, then later on washed it with running water from the hose. Back to work today but feeling sore at my back. Aarrgh!
