Mandala and zentangle coloring books are so in these days but if you are on a tight budget, all you can do is stare at them, or download free printable sheets online, and make your own.
I, myself, have been hooked with this for almost a month now but never bought one. I hand-draw my own designs and color them when I feel like doing it. That’s how the girls got the idea of buying some but I didn’t give in. Php700+ for a coloring book is way too much for such. Instead of spending on coloring books, I bought them these cloth bags from SM which can still be used even after the coloring activity. Good thing there were fabric markers available at National Bookstore! The best part was I saved a lot!
Fabric Markers x 1 set = Php169.75
A total of Php469.75. I let them doodled on the empty side of the bags and let their creativeness came out naturally. I also got myself one but didn’t finish it yet.
What a great way of spending the holiday with them! A productive and enjoyable one!!
Reminders when using the fabric markers:
1) Place a cardboard beneath the fabric material to prevent bleed through.
2) Allow it to dry and do not touch the colored spaces to prevent from smudging.
This is a great activity for kids! I personally like the floral bag 😀
It was a well spent and productive holiday for them yesterday.
I lie that, too, kaso type ni ate kaya I gave in hehe!
This is a nice activity for mommies (and daddies) na mka pag bonding ng bongga with their kids. Meron pla nito sa SM? Hanapin ko nga bukas. Haha! 🙂
Oo sis, nakakatuwa at nakakalibang, useful pa. Ginagamit na nga ni Deye yung kanya sa school for her extra notebooks na di magkasya sa backpack.
Wow! I thought these coloring books craze are only in paper. It’s everywhere na pala. Thanks for the heads-up. You have cute markers there too!
These bags are not actually for coloring but when I saw it kasi sabi ko “Hmmmmm pwede” with all the designs na ala Mandala and Zentangle, pwede talaga haha! Fabric markers lang ang katapat!
Thanks for visiting!
