For the first time, I am not putting our Christmas tree up. With a terrible two around the house, it’s just not possible. The only Christmas spirit that our house is having this year are the curtains, throw pillow cases and garland that I put on the TV stand. Oh and the bunch of poinsettia that I bought a month ago, just perfect for the vase that I bought in Bangkok. I might not have an online interior design degree but I do the best I can to make our home festive.
Tomorrow, I’m going to Pandayan Bookstore to get materials for more Christmas decors which I plan to do myself with the help of my eldest. Then, maybe segue to the market to get a couple of Christmas centerpieces stitched.

A giant leap like this is such a challenging journey but indeed is rewarding. A few bumps along this whole journey did not stop me from being the best version of myself.
i wish i could find time to do my own home decors…maybe when my daughter grows older, when she could already help me, too.
