Do you feel guilty for working? This is just one of the common questions that I encounter. Sure, I do. At times when I’m much needed at home but I can’t be there because I have to be at work. When one of my daughters get sick, and all they want to do is cling with me but I can’t because I have to be at work. At times when there are Parent-Teacher meetings but I can’t be there because I can’t leave the office just like that, and I’ll send my mom in my behalf instead.
Yes, it can be hard. It’s actually an irritating query that I have been hearing for years now, but I really get annoyed when some would ask me “Why do you have to work? Your husband works abroad.”
Have you ever heard the word “fulfillment“? It’s like accomplishing a certain department of my life. I guess, that’s one thing that I can be proud of time comes. And I am sure that one of my children will definitely follow my steps. That’s already an achievement! In case, one of them does not and makes mess, I won’t give up. If I have to bring all the hex socket set screws together to fix whatever mess they make, I would.
