The long wait is over! Finally, I was able to go to Olongapo today for my long overdue follow-up checkup.
Just thankful that everything is normal despite being at high risk, and no regular checkups because of our situation. Baby’s age based on size is at 30w3d.
Aside from wanting to know its development after 3mos of no regular checkups, just like everybody else, we’ve been waiting to know the gender. At first and second attempts, it wouldn’t show. Baby was happily sleeping on stomach with legs bent during the ultrasound. So I said maybe next time, after two weeks.
When the doctor was already checking on the measurements…. Pinatagilid ako, still trying patiently, pero wala pa din on second attempt , nakadapa si kulit, so she continued taking measurements instead…
“Ohhh wait eto na, eto na, mommy wag kang malikot, tagilid ka lang! It’s a boy! Kita mo ba?”
“Sure po kayo, doc? Bakit di ko po mapicture? Hahaha!” So the doctor pointed on the little birdie hahaha! Ayun! Tumagilid na din si kulit!
Nakalalaki din! Hahaha! Went home with a big smile on my face, and decided to drive thru Jollibee, get our quick dinner and do the gender reveal. We planned to do it tomorrow but I couldn’t wait any longer hahaha! So there you go, a very simple gender reveal during #ECQ haha!
Of course, I had to tell my husband first when he called and waited a little until everyone was gathered at home. Ingay namin di ba? ???
*Next follow-up checkup is on June 12, and a month after that is the big day! Yeah, I picked the earliest possible date para makaraos na. If swab tests are already available in Olongapo, then I am required to take it 2 weeks before July 12.
