Now that my husband is miles away from me, I am the one keeping all our important documents in its proper places and I’m talking about the hard copies here. But what if he needs a copy of our marriage contract for example? You know men… they don’t have the patience to keep a copy with them. So what I did was I uploaded them in his Y!briefcase so he could access to whatever he needs anytime without asking me to send him the copies that he needed. But sometimes Yahoo decides to misbehave and it takes like ages to download the files you wanted very badly. We didn’t have a choice but to be patient… until I discovered Scribd!
Scribd is a Silicon Valley startup creating technology that makes it easy to share documents online. You can think of Scribd as a big online library where everyone can publish original content, including you!
Part of the idea behind Scribd is that everyone has a lot of documents sitting around on their computers that only they can read. With Scribd we hope to unlock this information by putting it on the web.
Okay… okay…. don’t panic. Even if you can have your docs published publicly, you could also keep and organize them privately. That’s what I exactly did. Uploaded our files and kept them private. Who would want her passport copies published publicly? No one.
So how does my husband get an access? Obviously, I gave him my login info… Heehee! The only advantage with Scribd is you could upload different types of files.
See those? And you can have those files kept and saved privately, as I’ve mentioned earlier…
Plus it’s a user-friendly site. You can also create a folder accordingly.
Cool huh? Get yourself an account now with Scribd! It’s free!
Btw, this is not a paid post. Teehee!
