I’m slowly feeling the pressure of having a 4th grader. My eldest came home from school loaded with homeworks and one of them was numbered from 1 – 10, asking to give the definitions. Since I still didn’t have a dictionary available that day, we had to depend on a dictionary app on my phone.
Word search was easy, of course, but you lose the fun and thrill of finding it just like how we used to do it back then. So I asked my mom if the dictionaries I had before were still around and in good condition. Luckily, they were nicely kept. The inside pages were still as good as new except for the hard covers. You can actually tell how old they are just by looking at the covers.
As of today, we are going old school. No more apps or online help on this kind of homeworks.
