After I’ve bought the wedding gift for my cousin and her Korean fiance, mom and I had lunch at Hainanese Delights. This time it’s her treat! Mom was hesitant to dine in there but I insisted, for a change. So we went in and asked what kind of food they serve. They of course recommended their specialty which was the Hainanese Chicken that comes with unlimited Hainanese Chicken Rice. I ordered that for myself.

Hainanese chicken rice is a dish of Chinese origin most commonly associated with Hainanese and Malaysian cuisine, although it is also commonly sold in neighbouring Thailand and Singapore.
What I love about this rice is the after taste that you get. It’s flavorful! In fact, I had two cups of Hainanese Rice today heehee!
Mom ordered Bring in the Beef for herself. That also came with an unlimited Hainanese Chicken Rice. It tastes like Beef Stew. I loved its tenderness.
I added on Tofu, Pork with Noodles and Peach Iced Tea.

All these for Php500 only. Not bad eh? I’m really glad SM City is now in Olongapo. We now have choices of restaurants to dine in.

I love hainanese chicken! First try was at Eastwood. I forgot the name of the resto though. 🙂
Hi Lizzie! I’m glad I tried it!
I’m not really attracted to dishes na walang kulay, but I’m glad I really did try this. Masarap naman pala kahit maputla hehe!
Thanks for visiting!
Wow! I just had some hainanese chicken a week ago, cooked by my chinese uncle. Very yummy…do you have a recipe? just wondering if there’s any other ingredient or ways to cook it..
