14 years ago (Wow, it’s been that long! I feel a lot older! If only I could stop the sand of time, I would!), Dada Derrick braved the cold weather in Bahrain, and hailed a cab to take us to the hospital. 12 hours later of dry labor, a beautiful baby girl was born, and that was you. We named you after our first names DERrick + MichELLE. It was a life changing moment for both of us… I picked up, learned how to change soiled diapers, juggled office and mommy duties in the Middle East, survived our sleepless nights with the help of Mita and Nana alternately, and eventually left our 2nd home for good without Dada – ALL FOR YOU….
As I always tell you, you got to BELIEVE IN YOURSELF. Conquer your fear and shyness. Show everyone what you got. You are one beautiful young lady gifted with a golden voice and great dance moves. Lucky you!
