As you celebrate your 32nd Wedding Anniversary tomorrow, la lang, gusto ko lang mag-emote hehehe!Dad, you’re such an ideal father, a friend and adviser. How will I ever forget the day when you gave me the best advice ever “eh di bigyan mo pa ng chance kung mahal mo pa, mas madali lumimot ng kasalanan pag mahal mo pa….”, I did and I owe it to you… You’ve been always supportive even the night before my wedding day…
Mom, you’ve shown your love and care for us. You are my bestfriend (aside from Chel hehehe). You’ve known my little secrets back then. You’ve made me realized that being a mother isn’t an easy job. I’ll be grateful forever… For being with me when I needed you most…and that was the day when I had my fair share on giving birth to Derelle.
And for that, I offer this poem (by Nicholas Gordon) to you (I didn’t make it but good enough to describe how we were brought up in a place called “home”.
