A day before the classes were suspended, we were happily doing my grade schooler’s homeworks and one of them was about the characteristics of building a happy home. Here’s how the conversation went:
1. LOVE
In every answer I tell her, I also explain her thru throwing questions back. So I asked her why love is needed in building a happy home?
There was silence… her face was blank so I rephrased it by giving a situation. Okay, for example if your Mama and Dada do not love you, what will you do?
Such a quick answer she gave me ” I will leave the house!!”
Her answer gave me a good laugh coming from a 6 year old but really I never expected she would say that!

I am a full-time home-based Marketing Manager by day, 24/7 Mom, and a Blogger/Content Creator in my spare time. Proud mom to 2 girls and 1 boy, Derelle, Erchelle, and Elric.
I am happy to share my adventures as I walk through motherhood and have to do most things on my own while my husband works miles away from us. Turning my passion into a profitable venture is another thing.
Authoring and managing this personal blog developed my social media awareness over the years.
From being an ex-OFW to doing what I am good at in the comfort of my own home – while taking good care of my 3 wonderful kids, I hope that people see me as a great inspiration when it comes to pursuing my passion and turning it into a profitable venture.
A giant leap like this is such a challenging journey but indeed is rewarding. A few bumps along this whole journey did not stop me from being the best version of myself.
ha!ha! hopefully at her age she is not serious about it. Funny but sometimes scary what’s behind our kids minds nowadays.
Nice one, ate Deye! It is really quite amazing how children react to many different things around them. The pleasure of being a mom, seeing another beautiful creation unfold right before our very eyes! ^_^
She’s got spunk, that one. I hope it’s her answer only as a child, and not as a mom, herself. We gotta work problems out instead of leave when the going gets tough.
