It was year 2007 when I officially engaged myself into paid blogging. At first, it was just some sort of an outlet where I could share my thoughts as a first time mom and an OFW.
I just gave birth to my eldest when I came across PMN, a network of Filipina moms, who happened to be Bloggers. Through them I learned that you can make money online. Frankly, I didn’t know that there’s money in blogging. I was actually hesitant thinking how do I get paid. I took their advise, bought my very own domain which is until now helping me make the ends meet.
Through these Mommy Bloggers, I was able to know the details of the potential advertisers, submitted and applied for my blogs, created my PayPal account and that was all about it. The rest is history.
To date, I am still very much into paid blogging, just by writing paid articles and if I get luckier, I also receive products for review and some advertising spots for my blogs, which are also compensated.
Hmmm… Hinde ko ata na abotan ang PMN. I met you sa PMC na at sa Paraiso. Hehehe…
Anyway, I am glad I found blogging! This is one of my great blessings in life!!!
Hi Mommy R! Yup, That’s before I came across PMC kasi.
Absolutely, blogging is a blessing to us!
Sure is!! A very big blessing!!
i’m turning one year in blogging and still praying for more advertisers. just like you, i’m thankful for all the help of the blogging community I’ve joined too.
Thanks God for the gift of wit. We were able to use it to share our views and opinions to the world and at the same time giving us extra income to enjoy life’s little pleasures. 🙂
paid blogging also helps me make ends meet, visiting from PMC, see you around and have a happy weekend
I came across your blog from OFW Guru and im glad i did. I’ve started my blogging about eight months ago and still lots to learn. I’ve started this blog initially as my ‘me-time’ and slowly learning the possibility of earning through it as well. I supposed i need to buy a domain first to start earning?
I was an OFW in Bahrain too and married to a half Indian/Khmer with one daughter whom I have been home-schooling for two years now 🙂
More power to you Mikaela.
Hi sis! Thanks for visiting.
I think sa Blogspot okay i-monetize ang blog kahit walang owned domain. With WordPress kasi di yata allowed, not sure lang if nagbago na yun.
You can also try with payu2blog.com, open sila sa fresh/new blogs. Dyan nabuhay ang blogs ko dati. But yes, mas okay talaga ng kitaan if you own a domain. 🙂
Try mo din sa LinkVehicle > http://tinyurl.com/khaglgm, they also pay good especially kapag established na ang blog mo.
I’m also married to an Indian national for almost 11 years now. We have 2 daughters naman.
Again, thanks for visiting!
