I prefer it written and said this way “I’m A Stranger In My Home Abode“.
When I decided to work here in Bahrain, I never thought this would be my second home. I have always believed that in my heart, I only have one home – where I was brought up.
A house is a building in which people live. In short, it serves as people’s living quarters.
A home is a building in which family (father, mother and children) live and survive out of unconditional love, no matter what.
Who would’ve thought that Bahrain will be my second home (literally)? This is where I have built and started my own family. That’s what I want to call it – home. But as much as I would like to, I could never call it my home. Abode is the perfect term for it which defines “a legal place of residence”. Though I legally live here with my 2Ds, I could never call it my own.
As the famous saying goes home is where the heart is. In my heart I know, I’ll be going home one day. I just don’t know when, but I’m positive and certain, I’ll be there one day.
Pag-umuuwi ka sa Pinas, anong tawag mo duon? Di ba you call it “Coming home.”
@ Cookie : Bakasyon hehehe! Joke!
I’m actually referring Bahrain as home in this post na stranger ako.
