Yey! It worked!
Though I said I won’t be trying PayPal to EON yet, I did. Yup, I did withdraw my PayPal funds to my EON card 3 days ago. When I checked my account through online banking this evening, it’s there!
I withdrawn $50 first just to try. There was P50 bank charge. A lot better than Xooming my money and lose $7 in every $100 I send. Far better! Downside is, I have to wait for at least 3 days while though Xoom, you’ll get your money in 20 minutes.
To those of you who are still in doubt of using withdraw funds to your bank account option, well, I got my money in just 3 days!

maybe next time, you can transfer some moolah in my dormant Paypal account! I don’t care if I’ll have to wait for more than three days. heehee, joke lang po!
but seriously, glad to know it’s working for you. I’ve read in many forums na daming nagkaka problema sa paypal phils.
Sure, sa Pasko hahaha!
Yup, I was surprised at kabado, baka mafreeze money ko buti na lang hindi. 😉
P50.00 is a reasonable charge. I might just try this one.

Am glad that PayPal now works in the Philippines and charge is only P50. My son has been using my debit card linked to my PayPal account for online transactions — costs $5 per ATM withdrawal so he had to wait for his online earnings to accumulate before asking me to withdraw to save on the transaction costs. Now, he transacts through his own Unionbank eon account: aside from saving, he can also buy-sell-receive-remit cash without me in the picture. We’ve been using PayPal for 3 years and so far, no problems encountered. With PayPal, Pinoys can have more chances of earning online.
