I never imagined that the kids will be stuck at home this long, no mall visits, no eating out, not even quick hellos with friends at school.
I wonder how they will easily adapt to another ‘new normal’ routine once classes have started two weeks from now. Even myself is not yet ready for this change, but then again we are left with no choice. All we can do now is follow what needs to be done by keeping healthy (and of course, hope and pray that this pandemic will be over soon).
Eat the right food. Lately, I have been forcing the girls to eat veggies whether they like it or not.
Stay hydrated. Aside from religiously taking vitamins and supplements like
Bio-Fit Multivitamins/Food Supplement, lemons have now become a part of my weekly ‘palengke’ budget so that we can have freshly squeezed lemon juice daily.
Wash hands and sanitize. Although I keep a gallon of alcohol available in the household, we do not practice using/applying alcohol each time, but instead, I remind the kids to wash their hands whenever and make use only of the alcohol for sanitizing any items that came from outside.
Get enough sleep (I wish I can do this though haha!). Once classes have started, they will have limited screentime again, and give way to early bedtime. I am sure they’ve had enough “liberty” days since March.
